I received this as a gift and initially I was not sanguine on the content but I was pleasantly surprised. The chapters were written in a finely-crafted style and the range of subject was refreshing. I particularly enjoyed the twisted and interleaved narrative of 'In Perugia' and the sense of location in 'Nepal - End of an Era'. The chapters were ideal for those interminable international journey breaks.
